Latest Updates: As per the latest updates, the CTET exam that was proposed to conduct on 05 July 2020 has been postponed due to COVID 19 Pandemic. However, the CBSC board has mentioned in the latest notification the examination will be conducted when the situation would be adaptive.

CTET Exam Pattern July 2020

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET Exam Pattern July 2020 for paper -1 and paper- 2 and the pattern is the same as the previous year no changes have made. You can check out the details provided below.

CTET Exam Pattern Paper-1 And paper-2 

Basically, part-1 and paper-2 both will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from five different subjects which candidates are required to solve within two and a half hours. Each subject carries 30 marks that are equal to 150 marks. Therefore, maximum marks for paper -1 are 150. Each question carries single marks and no negative marks will be applied. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

  2. Environmental Studies
  3. Mathematics
  4. Language-I (compulsory)
  5. Language-II (compulsory)

  1. Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory)

  3.  Language-II (compulsory)
  4. Mathematics and Science, Social Science or Social Studies for related teachers post

CTET Selection Procedure

In order to get the selection, the candidates are required to qualify these minimum qualifying criteria-

  • The candidates have to appear in the written test exam and score minimum qualifying marks.
  • The candidates have to score a minimum of 60% or above marks in the written test exam.
  • The candidates must meet the minimum qualifying Eligibility Criteria of the CTET Exam 2020.
  • Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH and others) candidates may grant some relaxation in minimum qualification eligibility criteria.
  • Selected candidates would issued a certificate that will remain valid for appointment till 7 years from the date of the announcement.
  • This certificate will grant permission to the candidates to apply in private and central govt. schools when there will any vacancy arrives.
  • Candidates are informed that qualifying CTET Exam does not give any guarantee for recruitment or employment as it is only a certificate for the appointment.
  • There is no foundation for appearing in the exam. Any candidates can apply several times until he is not satisfied with their marks.

How To Download CTET Admit Card 2020

  1. First of all, visit the official website of  CTET ctet.nic.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link  Download CTET Admit Card 2020.
  3. Now, enter the login credential which was provided during registration.
  4. After filling all the details click on Submit Button.
  5. You would be able to see your admit card appearing on the screen.
  6. Now take a printout of CTET Admit Card 2020 for future references.
