RRB NTPC Exam Pattern: RRB NTPC is the much-awaited exam of 2019 which is going to held in March 2020 soon. RRB NTPC Exam 2019 consists of 35208 vacancies including 10603 for Undergraduate while 24605 vacancies for Graduate post. According to the official data, there are 1.26 crore application is received for 35208 Non- Technical Popular Category (NTPC). RRB is set to conduct the NTPC Exam soon while there is no confirm statement comes from the officials, but it is expected to held in March 2020. This vacancy includes various post such as Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Master, etc.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2020

The exam will be held in two stages CBT-1 and CBT-2. The candidates need to qualify both the stage to get selection. After qualifying both the above exam candidate will be called for Typing Test for some particular post, finally, if you get qualified all these exams you will get selection in Indian Railway after medical test and document verification. RRB NTPC Exam Pattern Stage-1 

In the first stage of the RRB NTPC Exam, there will be 100 questions and each question will carry single marks. There is negative marking scheme for every wrong question 1/3rd no will be reduced. The time limit to solve the first paper is 1 hour 30 minutes for all candidates excepting PH candidates they are allowed to solve in 2 hours.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test: After qualifying both the exam stages, candidates opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master have to appear in CBAT(Computer Based Aptitude Test). Which includes questions and answer from English and Hindi only and there is no negative marking scheme.

Typing Skill Test: The Candidates opted for  Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper. have to appear in Typing Skil test after qualifying cbt-1 and cbt-2. This test includes mainly English and Hindi typing 30 WPM and 25 WPM respectively.

RRB NTPC Exam 2020 CBT-1 Cutoff

As I told in the above section to appear in cbt-2 you must qualify cbt-1. So, what should be the minimum qualifying marks for all? we would know in this section.

  1. GN/EWS Category: Minimum expected qualifying marks for General and EWS category will be 40% which is likely to be 40 number.
  2. SC/ST/OBC Category: Minimum expected Qualifying marks for SC and OBC are 30% while only 25% needed for ST Candidates.
  3. PWD Candidates: Minimum Qualifying marks may be reduced by 2% for PH candidates.

RRB NTPC Exam  2020 CBT-2 Expected Cutoff

The Expected cutoff for all the candidates may differ up to 4 to 5 percent for each category-For Gen and Ews it maybe varies between 40% to 45% while for SC/ST and OBC candidates may also differ the same as General Category. However, it is not official data but it may be reduced or increased depends on no of qualified candidates in cbt-1.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test Expected Cutoff

After qualifying cbt-2 the candidates opted Traffic Assistant and Station Master have to appear in CBAT which is Computer Based Aptitude Test. Where the candidates from any category required to score minimum T-score of 42 marks in each test to get selected in Indian Railway. However, it is not officially confirmed score it is expected marks.

Typing Skill Test Minimum Qualifying Marks

After qualifying cbt-2 the candidates opted for Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper will have to appear in typing skill test. To qualify TST candidates are required to type 30 WPM in English while 25 WPM in Hindi the final merit list will be prepared based on the TST performance while PWD candidates are exempted and the final merit list for them will be based on cbt-2 marks.

RRB NTPC 2020 Final Selection Procedure

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list prepared after calculating Obtained marks in all the exams including TST (typing Skill test) and CBAT(Computer Based Aptitude Test). However, candidates must have to appear for further processes such as Medical Fitness Test, Document Verification, etc.
